Google to blur explicit images in search by default

  • Google is taking action to make the internet a safer place by blurring explicit images in search results for all users as the default setting.
  • This will be implemented in the coming months.
  • SafeSearch filtering is already the default for signed-in users under the age of 18.
  • This is in celebration of Safer Internet Day.
