• The service will now flag suspected spam calls and will clearly label them with a big red exclamation mark.
• Spam calls and texts have been a huge issue for years and are still prevalent, with consumers in the US receiving approximately 4 billion robocalls per month and Americans having lost $10.5 billion to scam calls in 2021.
• Google designed this feature to help protect users from unwanted calls and potentially harmful scams.
