Google has announced that it has setup a YouTube production studio in Mumbai which will be housed at Whistling Woods International film school.
The facility is the second of its kind in Asia, the first of which was set up in Tokyo, and the seventh YouTube Space worldwide.
YouTube Spaces will allow aspiring content creators get access to high-end equipment and mentorship to produce quality content.
Google is trying to bring out more creators such as AIB and TVF who have over 1 million followers in less than 2 years of being on YouTube.
Further, with smartphone sales surging and the long wait for high-speed by affordable 4G Internet access coming to an end, Google is making sure it’s ready for the next big boom.
