Government requests for Google’s user data at a record high

Google, in its transparency report, stated that different governments in the world have made 40,677 requests related to more than 81,000 accounts in the July-December period of 2015. Almost 5,000 more than the requests made in the first 6 months of 2015. USA tops the list with the most requests followed Germany and France.
