Under the Startup Action Plan which Narendra Modi had announced in January, the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion will be launching a new portal and mobile app this week through which startups can register themselves in a day.
Additionally, the online portal will also provide information on tax and Government incubation programmes. It will be a single point of contact for all Government procedures and will later help DIPP to identify and validate the eligible startups.
Later, the portal would help the startups to register under the Companies Act.
