Gramco Infratech, a rural infrastructure company, has raised Rs 15 cr from impact investing fund Samridhi.
Indore based Gramco will utilize these funds to construct agricultural warehouses in Madhya Pradesh. Gramco offers services such as warehousing, collateral finance and other things that help agriculture. The company, which started operations in 2010, owns a couple of multi service facilities in Indore and has plans to set up 11 more by 2015, it said.
Samridhi fund, which targets 8 low income states in the country is backed by the UK government’s Department for International Development & Small Industries Development Bank of India.
