Robotics startup GreyOrange that serves e-commerce, logistics and manufacturing companies has raised $30 million in Series B funding led by Tiger Global.
The company will use the capital in R&D for new products, expand its executive team and accelerate international expansion into Asia Pacific, Middle East and European markets.
GreyOrange currently has over 300 employees, two-thirds of whom make up the engineering team. It now plans to double the size of its team globally.
The company already counts Flipkart, Amazon India, Jabong, Delhivery, GoJavas, Aramex, DTDC and Kerry Logistics among its customers.
By Diwali, GreyOrange-supplied technology will have the capacity to sort over 3 million parcels a day. The Butler is the other product from the company that is an automated order picking system.
