Even with all those group buying sites floating around, there are many who haven’t managed to buy a deal for themselves as yet. So here it goes, one more group buying deals site for your appetite.
Dealivore is a daily deals site from a Hyderabad based startup with presence in three cities. They started with Hyderabad, where they claim to be the market leaders. The site traffic has seen a sudden spurt since they launch their other two cities, Chennai and Bangalore. Given the limited cities they serve, their follower base (over 100K FB fans) and traffic is quite commendable.
On the deals front they seem to be same as other players, with 50-80% discount on eat-outs/gym/spa and other lifestyle services. Though, i find some better known places with them as compared to other Groupon clones.
The team comes from an enterprise software background and the venture is self +Angel funded. They claim to be doing some little things that can create a difference in experience, like Cash On Delivery, local number for customer support and they also claim to be the only one to host both coupons(partially paid on the site, rest to merchant) and vouchers(fully paid on the site).
