GV Keshav Reddy, the scion of GVK family, is launching an ecommerce portal “The Indian Brand”.
Keshav’s friend, Ishaan Dodhiwala is another co founder of the ecommerce portal. The website with a motto “One for you, one for me” claims to give a product to underprivileged children on every purchase done by customers.
GVK family is a large Indian conglomerate with ventures in power, energy and infrastructure domain.
As the name says, the portal is way too Indian in every sense. To start with, it has a logo of our national bird “Peacock” and all the t-shirts being sold on the site have “INDIAN” printed on them. The site which is in testing phase currently, will be launched a little later today.
The website was live when we checked (perhaps in the testing phase) and there were three SKU’s in total. The etailer has tied up with Gati Ltd. for the logistics and claims to deliver the products within same day of placing the order in metros.
