Hasbro, the owner of Scrabble game has finally decided to withdraw the laq

Hasbro earlier filed a lawsuit against Scrabulous citing copyright infringement – the game was taken down from Facebook and the founder then launched Wordscraper.
Was this decision of Hasbro taken under the influence of recession (cost involved in fighting a legal battle).
Moreover FB already dropped the app from it’s site – so what will Hasbro fight for? Few 1000s of dollars?
