HCL Infosystems has launched a range of low cost tablets under its HCL ME brand. On Tuesday, the company unveiled the HCL ME U2, HCL ME V1 and the HCL ME Y3, starting from Rs 5,999.
The HCL ME Y3 runs on a 1Ghz Cortex A9 CPU with built in GPS, FM and a mini HDMI port. It also has a dual sim slot.
HCL ME V1, being positioned as a phablet has a dual camera and 1 GB RAM. It runs on a 3200 mAH Li- Po battery and supports up to 11 3G USB dongles. The HCL ME U2, which is the cheapest in the range sports a 1Ghz Cortex A9 processor, 1GB DDR3 RAM, FUll HD support and mini HDMI.
