Kolkata-based healthtech startup, Tiyo, run by Labsense Technology Services, has raised additional undisclosed funding in its seed round. The round has been led by its existing investor, Dubai-based entrepreneur and CEO of I-Adepto Global Ajith Nair. This is the second round of seed funding for Tiyo. In July this year, the company had raised $120K.
The startup will use the funds to further develop their patient care technology and consolidate sales efforts. It will also use the funds to strengthen its development team, which based out of Bangalore.
Founded in May 2015 by Rana Dutta, Sandip Bodak and Sunil Mishra, Tiyo assists patients to connect with healthcare services and practitioners across India through its web and mobile platform. The platform is currently available in six cities and will be expanding to Delhi by 2017.
