Helion Advisors has announced that Rahul Chowdhri, Ritesh Banglani and Alok Goyal will leave the firm, to pursue opportunities outside of Helion.
Helion is a multi-stage India-focused venture fund with over $600 million under management, and a portfolio of over 60 firms, including Shopclues, BigBasket, Ezetap, Azure Power, Makemytrip, red Bus and Taxiforsure. Helion has its offices in Bangalore, Gurgaon (NCR) and Silicon Valley.
The trio held responsibilities in areas of deal sourcing, diligence and portfolio support. The departing executives will separate from the firm over the next few weeks and will cease to provide any ongoing assistance to the portfolio companies.
Helion’s portfolio service team comprises operating partners R Natarajan (Managing Director), Dhruv Prakash and Srikanth Sunderarajan who support the investee companies in the areas of Finance, HR and Technology.
Helion was founded in 2006 by Ashish Gupta, co-founder Junglee, Kanwaljit Singh, co-head at private equity fund Carlyle Group India, Sanjeev Aggarwal, founder of BPO firm Daksh, and Rahul Chandra.
