The funding will be used to expand its data centers and develop cloud computing technologies.
Hosting War in India
Frankly, the Hosting war in India has not yet begun. Cloud offerings haven’t yet become a norm and while Amazon takes its own sweet time to expand in SE Asia, infra startups will drive the next level of hosting war in India (E2E launched Dedicated Servers with Unmetered Bandwidth).
Two years back, Ctrls Data Center raised Rs. 250 Cr from PE funds and more funding in this space will lead to competitive pricing (and hopefully, better support which will lead more trust in Indian hosting providers) .
