The hotel aggregator has introduced an early check-in feature that will allow users to check into hotel rooms as early as 6 AM. The feature will be offered free of cost in select locations, and at a nominal charge in others. OYO’s Sunrise check-in is now live both on its website and mobile app.
The long-practised industry norm is check-in times no earlier than 2-3 pm and check-out times no later than 11 am-12 noon. “With Sunrise check-in travellers can plan their mode of travel, duration and trip itinerary in a better way, without being constrained by the check-in time,” OYO’s Founder & CEO Ritesh Agarwal said.
Sunrise check-in service is delivered via the OYO Partners system where hotels update days where they can offer early check-in.
