Housejoy acquires Personal Fitness Startup, Orobind

Housejoy has acquired personal fitness start-up Orobind for an undisclosed amount in an all stock deal. The acquisition will help Housejoy build on health and wellness categories.

This is Housejoy’s second acquisition (earlier acquired dry cleaning and laundry start-up MyWash).

“The acquisition is a part of our strategy to become leaders in this categories with high repeat order rates. With this acquisition we are looking to create a differentiated lifestyle experience for our customers across beauty, fitness and wellness categories,” Saran Chatterjee, Housejoy CEO

Post acquisition, Orobind founder, Satya will head fitness vertical at Housejoy. The company earlier raised angel round from a few founders including Gaurav Munjal of Flatchat.
