The Housing.com domain was bought for $500 k, the All 3’s number deal is of a similar value. The new acquisitions for Housing are just over $1 million. The company is expected to hit its first international expansion within the next 6 months.
“Hopefully, this is going to be the biggest domain deal of the year world-wide. And it’s our first step in going global,” said Advitiya Sharma, the co-founder of Housing.co.in.
The startup maps out the details of the property and provides other related informations including pictures to rental, security deposit, details if furnished etc.
The real estate search, Housing.co.in had secured a $2.5 million of funding from Nexus Venture Partners in June this year. That was the 3rd successful round of funding for the company, started by a group of IIT Bombay students, after 2 smaller rounds earlier.
From what we know, the company has raised another $3mn round from Nexus Venture Partners 2 months back (unannounced).
Competitor, Commonfloor recently raised $7.5mn from Accel and Tiger Global for its global launch.
