- Huawei launched its own ‘MetaERP’ (enterprise resource planning system) in Dongguan, south China.
- The switch was celebrated with an internal ceremony attended by Huawei’s rotating Chairperson Meng Wanzhou, the daughter of the company’s founder Ren Zhengfei.
- This was done in response to the company being cut off from US services.
