Hyderabad’s International Airport Becomes Fully Powered by Renewable Energy

  • GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) confirms its entire energy consumption is now powered by green energy.
  • The switch saves approximately 9,300 tons of carbon dioxide annually. The airport also absorbs 240 tons of CO2 yearly.
  • Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) collaborated with GHIAL for this initiative.
