Online travel company ibiboGroup has acquired bus tracking and analytics platform YourBus for an undisclosed amount. YourBus is a GPS-based bus tracking and analytics platform now used by travelers and bus operators for real time information.
Ashish Kashyap, CEO of ibibo Group told NextBigWhat that the technology is live with 200+ buses and also live on redBus mobile app. ibiboGroup had acquired redBus in June last year.
YourBus was co-founded by Satya Padmanabham & Rajesh Mallipeddi in 2011.
Rajesh & his team have joined redBus, said Kashyap. Satya has launched a new startup Zapstitch, a platform which allows users to integrate data between SaaS paltforms.
ibiboGroup will integrate the YourBus platform with both its existing online travel properties redBus and Goibibo.
