At the closing ceremony of the IBM GEP SmartCamp India, held on 10th October at Royal Orchid, Bangalore, the six selected companies out of the 30 startups were asked to describe their product to the audience and a panel of judges. Both the audience and the panel were to vote on the best startup company and a winner was selected.
The six selected startups were Shopsense, TalView, Stelae Technologies, Wolken, A3RMT and DronaHQ while the panel of judges included Jason Mosakowski (Director, Software Sales and Marketing, IBM India), Dulles Krishnan (Executive Director, IBM Industry Solutions, Asia Pacific), Anup Gupta (Managing Director, Nexus Ventures), Balakrishnan V (Ex Board Member of Infosys, Chairman of Reservoir Ventures), Ravi Gururaj (Chairman, NASSCOM NPC), Sanjay Anandram (Partner, Seed Fund), Pradeep Tagare (Director, Intel Capital), Shailesh Ghorpade (Partner, Reservoir Ventures), Robyn Selge (Director of the Ecosystems Development team for IBM in Asia Pacific).
