Venture capital firm IDG has raised about $150 million (Rs 1,000 crore) from investors for its third fund, called IDG Ventures India Fund III. The firm had raised $100 million each in its first two funds.
The firm is planning to invest the major share of the fund in maturing startups and lead the later stage rounds.
The firm will continue to invest in startups engaging in consumer technology, healthcare technology and software sectors, financial technology.
IDG Ventures recently invested in HealthifyMe and Lenskart.
