Over 650 students dropped out of IITs in 2015-2016

In the academic year 2015-2016, a total of 656 students dropped out of various IITs, with highest dropouts noted at IIT Delhi. According to data, provided by HRD Minister of State Mahendra Nath Pandey, 49 students dropped from IIMs in the same year. Mr. Pandey attributed the dropouts to proactive measures taken by both institutions.
