Ikea has announced that it will offer users multiple formats to buy their products. Apart from the flagship stores, the company will open smaller retail outlets with limited products and plans to foray into e-commerce in a phased manner.
The idea behind opening mini-stores is about being easily accessible to the customers and this change in their strategy is going be implemented globally.
After Hyderabad, Ikea is looking to set up outlets in metro cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune and has set a target of meeting 100 million customers in the future.
