Affordable Health Care Services iKure Raises Seed Funding

iKureAffordable health care services startup iKure Techsoft has raised Rs 70 lakh from the Japanese impact investment firm ARUN LLC, Mumbai angels and existing investors.

Kolkata based iKure will attempt to raise a Series A round in 12 months (via).

iKure runs health centers in rural areas where there are issues such as lack of electricity and low Internet connectivity. The current round of funding will be used to take the number of Rural Health Centres from 12 to 25 and expand operations in Orissa.

Japanese impact investment firm ARUN will scout for more social enterprises across India in partnership with Intellecap, the company said.
