RCom slaps legal notice to DoT

Now that communication ministry has decided to allot additional spectrum based on TRAI’s formula, Reliance is of course, unhappy and has served a legal notice to the government to freeze allocation of airwaves to existing players.

“The notice has been filed to ensure that excess spectrum held by GSM operators is being returned, RCom said in a statement. It said GSM operators should immediately return over 50 MHz of spectrum being hoarded by them free of cost and beyond their entitlement of 6.2 MHz.” [source]

A T Kearney has released it’s study stating that India is second to China when it comes to FDI.  While China and India lead FDI destinations in the 2007 index, 15 of the most attractive FDI destinations are developing markets. [source]
