India spent Rs 4100 crore to host G20 in Delhi

  • India replaced Indonesia as the G20 Presidency, and Brazil will take it in 2024. The initial government budget for the G20 Presidency was Rs 990 crore.
  • Over Rs 4100 crore was ultimately spent by Delhi and Central government departments in the run-up to the Summit after this budget was extended further.
