Of eCommerce and Social Media Battle ; Snapdeal Leads In Engagement

Who is the biggest of them all in social media? It’s a tough battle among the ecommerce players and there surely is a neck to neck fight between Snapdeal and Flipkart.
The data by social media research firm, Simplify360 has been collected from over 57 eCommerce firms in the country with consideration of average score on factors such as total number of organic and inorganic mentions, fan size on Facebook, the number of people engaged, the number of followers and mentions in the last 30 days (as of February 2015).
Key findings from the report are:
Top 5 eCommerce website on Social Media is Flipkart, Snapdeal, eBay, Myntra and Jabong in that order.
Snapdeal has the highest score of voice on Social Media at 23.1%.
The combined voice of the top three players, i.e Snapdeal, Flipkart and eBay add to 51.2%.
Yepme is the leader on Facebook with 59,08,797 fans on the page and 8,53,849 of them being engaged.
In terms of Facebook fan size, Junglee, OLX and Expedia closely follow Yepme on the list.
Flipkart, Jabong, Amazon, Junglee, YepMe have all seen massive growth in Facebook fans over a year.
Snapdeal has the highest engagement on Twitter while Flipkart has the most number of followers.
