Indian Government Officers Allowed to Keep Electronic Devices Worth Up to Rs 1.3 Lakh After 4 Years

  • Officers can keep the devices for personal use after four years of official use.
  • This policy supersedes the previous one from 2020 which capped equipment costs at Rs 80,000 and had no provision for retention of gadgets.
