Indian Govt wants Apple and Google phones to use Aadhaar encryption !

Few weeks ago, Indian government officials invited executives from Apple, Microsoft, Samsung and Google to a meeting to discuss embedding Aadhaar encryption into their technology. [source]

Apple didn’t show up at all. Government has mandated companies to even put the mandatory SOS button in all devices starting next year.
