Indian Railways introduce paperless ticket reservation using QR codes at 12 stations

The North Western Railway is introducing railway ticket reservation through QR codes at 12 different stations. This will help passengers to book paperless unreserved tickets at the last moment

In the first phase, this service will be available at 12 stations namely, Jaipur, Ajmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Abu Road, Udaipur City, Durgapura, Alwar, Rewari, Sanganer, Lalgarh, and Gandhinagar Jaipur.

This facility will be available via the UTS app which can be downloaded from the on Play Store. Users will be required to scan the QR code available at the station and complete the booking process to reserve the ticket.
