Euromonitor International, a global market research company, has released a report on the global consumer electronics industry. According to the new data, sales of smartphones in India will double to 200 million a year by 2020, making it the world’s second-largest smartphone market, just behind China.
India’s smartphone sales will touch 231.5 million in 2021, up from 102.4 million in 2016. Chinese sales will grow from 440.3 million in 2016 to 460.4 million in 2021.
