Indian youth is super pessimistic about job prospect

Over 70% of post-millennials and 65% of younger millennials think it is ‘extremely’ or ‘fairly’ difficult to find a job nowadays.

Over 30% of India’s youth aged 15-29 years are ‘not in employment, education or training’ (NEETs), faring much worse than other major developing countries.

The YouGov-Mint survey reveals that most of those aged 21 years or below, and not yet working, expect a salary of at least Rs 30,000 per month.
