India’s Chandrayaan-3 Moon Lander Set to Launch on July 14

  • ISRO will launch Chandrayaan-3, four years after the crash of its predecessor, using Launch Vehicle Mark-III from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.
  • The mission includes a lander, propulsion module, and a rover intended to safely land on the moon and perform scientific experiments.
  • Besides Chandrayaan, ISRO is developing the Gaganyaan mission, which aims to send three people to a low-Earth orbit in 2024, and has also collaborated with NASA’s Artemis program.
