The firm’s 3D printing technology uses light and oxygen to build 3D objects from a pool of resin. Carbon 3D’s technology has the potential to speed up 3D printing by up to 100 times. The company says its printer will hit general availability by next year. Google founders became interested in the idea when they saw it in action at TED2015.
