Indiatimes launches Local search on WAP and SMS (powered by OnYoMo)

Indiatimes has launched local search service in partnership with OnYoMo.

The service can be accessed via Indiatimes’ wap site or by sending “ASK <query>” to 58888.

This partnership is surely a great win for OnYoMo, as they will get a substantial reach (Indiatimes’ 58888 is one of the most successful shortcode, and is a great example of how traditional media can create new revenue stream, by leveraging new channel).
