Hyderabad and Santa Clara based Ineda Systems, a low power System on Chip (SoC) developer, has raised $17 Mn in Series B Funding.

The funding round was led by Walden-Riverwood Ventures, and also includes Samsung Catalyst Fund, Qualcomm Ventures, IndusAge and other existing investors.

Ineda will use the funding to develop ultra low power semiconductors and software that can be used in the wearable device segment. The company has launched what it calls Wearable Processor Unit, a low-power, system on chip (SoC) targeting the emerging wearable technology market.
