Gurugram based Infraprime will launch India’s first 60-ton all-electric truck next year. It will be powered by a 276 kWh battery with a range of 276-300 Kms.
These heavy-duty trucks will be primarily used to transport road and housing construction material and will come with a top speed of 90/Kms.
The company aims at deploying 1000 such trucks by the end of next year and wants the counts to go up to 10,000 by the end of 2021.
Apart from these battery-operated trucks, the company will also set up its EV charging stations which will be able to fully charge the battery of these trucks in less than 90 minutes.
