IIM Ahmedabad’s cleantech focussed venture fund – Infuse Ventures has announced the closing of its second round of funds with over Rs 110 crores infused into it. The original plan was to raise Rs 75 crores.
Infuse Ventures supports early and seed stage startups that develop businesses in and around renewable energy and sustainability related activities.
Alongside the closing, Infuse has also invested in early stage enterprises like REConnect Energy Solutions, Surya Power Magic, Revive Electronic Waste and Tessol.
IIM A’s Centre of Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) had announces an initial closing in May 2013 with support from BP, IFC, Technology Development Board, Godrej Industries, Bank of India and others.
