Instapaper Premium is Now Free For Everyone, Thanks to Pinterest

Instapaper, the popular bookmarking app that allows users to save online articles to access it offline, has made its premium version available, free of charge to all users.
Starting today, Instapaper users will get free access to features previously available only via a paid subscription, including, an ad-free Instapaper website, full-text search for all articles, unlimited notes, text-to-speech playlists, unlimited speed reading, “Send to Kindle” via bookmarklet and mobile apps, and Kindle Digests of up to 50 articles, the company said in a blog post.

Instapaper was acquired by digital scrapbooking site, Pinterest in August this year, giving the company the ability to forgo its $3 a month or $30 a year subscription charge.
“Now that we’re better resourced, we’re able to offer everyone the best version of Instapaper,” the company said.
