Intel Capital continues with its magic number investment, i.e. $23mn [they invested $23mn in IndiaMart, One97 and Global Talent Track] in July Systems, KLG Systel and MCX, the commodity futures electronic exchange.

Though the individual investment is not announced, the investment firm has been investing in follow-up rounds on a regular basis.

KLG Systel, which is listed on BSE and NSE got the money via PIPE (private investment in a public equity) transaction.

Similarly, MCX investment too is via secondary market.

In 2008, Intel Capital invested about $50 million in 9 companies in India ($17mn in Yatra, BuzzInTown and Emnet Samsara Media Pvt).
