Intel Capital has announced its fresh investment of $40mn in Asian companies including Happiest Minds Technologies and TeliBrahma.
– Happiest Minds is a provider of cloud services, software product engineering, infrastructure management, security, testing and consulting services.
– TELiBrahma is a developer of mobile solutions using augmented reality, Bluetooth and WiFi technologies for advertising and retail segments. The company offers location-based and visual recognition-based applications that give consumers an enhanced digital experience in their interactions with major brands.
In total, Intel Capital announced 10 new and planned investments in Asian companies, totaling US$40 million, at the 12th annual Global Summit. These investments span five Asian markets – China, India, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan – and reflect Asia’s position at the forefront of global technology innovation.
Intel Capital earlier announced its plan to invest $20mn in 6 Indian startups – in Saankhya Labs, Testing Czars, FINO, What’s on India, enStage and DURON Energy Pvt. Ltd.
