Flipkart Is Now Selling Intel’s PC-On-A-Stick For 9,999

The device plugs into the HDMI port of any TV and turns it into a full-fledged Windows PC. Intel’s Compute Stick is similar in size to devices like Google’s Chromecast and packs a 1.83GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor coupled to 2GB of RAM. Other features include 32GB of storage, a single USB 2.0 port, a microSD card reader, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

You can now buy an Intel Compute Stick in India via Flipkart for Rs 9,999. The PC-on-a-stick from Intel was launched in the US a little while ago for $149 and has now made its way to the country.

The device plugs into the HDMI port of any TV or monitor, lets you connect a wireless keyboard and mouse and turns it into a full-fledged PC running on Windows 8.1 with Bing.

Intel’s Compute Stick is similar in size to devices like Google’s Chromecast and comes packing a 1.83GHz quad-core Intel Atom processor coupled to 2GB of RAM.

There’s 32GB of onboard storage, a single USB 2.0 port, a microSD card reader and supports Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity.

It runs on Windows 8.1 with Bing, which is identical to Windows 8.1 but has Bing Search set as the default search engine on the OS – users can change the search client to their preference.
