20-years ago, Archive.org, the project to archive the web started with just 500,000 sites. Today the non-profit organization curates a digital archive that includes more than 370 million websites and 273 billion pages.

Best known for the Wayback Machine, the site survives through donations and by working with libraries around the world, who pay them to digitize books and other material.
