Many of these job losses are reported (for e.g. Snapdeal firing 600 people, Craftsvilla : 100+), but the truth is that the actual numbers are a lot more than the reported ones (and will only increase in the coming months post shutdowns etc).
Several employees and their [mks_highlight color=”#eeee22″]families[/mks_highlight] are badly impacted by the current market scenario.
So what do we do as a startup ecosystem?
We can blame the founders for everything but that’s not going to change the current scenario.
It’s time to act and we at NextBigWhat are going to help these talented people get a deserving job.
The market is very cruel right now – there are very few jobs and very very few great companies out there. Having said that, we know for sure that great and long-term sustainable companies are still hiring and looking for great people!
Introducing : SaveTalent Project
The #SaveTalent project aims to be the platform that brings hiring companies and the impacted employees together.
To start off, we have put up a job board for companies who are hiring. And in the meanwhile, we are also reaching out to those who are firing so that they can get their team members to immediately start applying at these hiring companies.
Our aim is to ensure that the smart talent doesn’t get wasted.
