Couple of weeks back, we asked our geeky readers how do they work and the gears they use (thread: Geeks: How do you work?) – right from IDE to apps etc.
The response was super amazing and that inspired us to start a new series called ‘the Big Bang Geek’ series that will feature India’s super amazing geeks.
But first, how do we define geeks?
Well, we took a simple definition – i.e. the ones who create stuff (i.e. coders and coders++). Actually, we truly believe in the wikipedia’s definition of geek (emphasis is ours):
The word geek is a slang term for odd or non-mainstream people, with different connotations ranging from “a computer expert or enthusiast” to “a person heavily interested in a hobby”, with a general pejorative meaning of “a peculiar or otherwise dislikable person, especially one who is perceived to be overly intellectual.
Why are we doing this?
Because we want to massively promote the culture of ‘creation’ (and not just yapping around business plans/entrepreneurship). So let’s showcase the DOERs and the t(h)inkers!
If you are a geek, simply share your details with us. Or else if you know geeks, just introduce them to us. Please use the form below:
