Introducing the Speaker List + Agenda [UnPluGGd]

We introduced some of the speakers earlier and here is the entire list

Pallav Nadhani

Pallav started FusionCharts after class 12th and at UnPluggd, he will talk about his startup journey – how the company was started, how he managed to ‘seed fund’, scaling issues, some of the challenges the company faced and most importantly, customer centric approaches his company has built.

Saloni, Desicrew

She started her career in an interactive media start up, Web Chutney in Delhi. Desicrew wasn’t among the top ideas she had while she was mulling her own business.

At UnPluGGd, Saloni will share her startup journey of starting a rural BPO – the challenges and the fun of it.

Alok Kejriwal

No comments on Alok’s bio.
All Pi readers know Alok’s great insights and his willingness to share his story.

At UnPluGGd, Alok will share some of his insights from entrepreneurial journey – in a typical rodinhood style.

Manish Sharma, Printo

Manish Sharma is a software engineer by profession – was 12th employee of Rediff, started one of the earliest Internet services firm in India (in 1995) called DBSIS. Post DBSIS acquisition, Manish moved to US, worked on AI based learning and extraction engine startup (Late Prof. Rajeev Motwani was his advisor) which didn’t do so well. Later on, he went to Oxford University for MBA, worked for a company and moved to India to start a retail business, about which he had no idea of.

At UnPluggd, Manish will share the ideation journey (he was passionate about another idea, but later decided to ditch that and worked on Printo) and most importantly, the journey of starting a business in domain where his lack of experience was probably his best weapon.

Naveen Tewary, InMobi

Naveen’s journey started with McKinsey & Company where he worked on developing the go-to-market strategy for a large Indian conglomerate, as it entered the telecom sector. He has also worked with the top management of technology companies on various issues. Later, he joined Charles River Ventures (CRV), a top tier VC firm focusing on early stage investing in software and communications. Naveen worked with CRV on developing its India investment strategy. He also worked briefly with a mobile VoIP startup in Silicon Valley.

At UnPluggd, Naveen will share the InMobi journey – right from mKhoj days when the company was not really into ad network (and was into lead generation service).
