Apple’s killer-sized iPad Pro will cost around Rs 67,900 for a 32GB Wi-Fi only model—jut Rs 5210 more than the iPhone 6s 64 GB model.
The 128GB Wi-Fi model will cost Rs. 79,900, while the 128GB Wi-Fi + cellular model will be priced at Rs. 91,900. Official Apple retailers in India are receiving iPad Pro stock this week.
The iPad Pro is a powerful tablet, “handcrafted for professional artists, designers, and businessmen”, according to Apple. The multi-touch subsystem is an exciting feature that Apple debuted in both iPad Pro and iPad 6s devices, this year.
The iPad Pro comes with a 12.9-inch 2732×2048 pixel display—adding up to more than 5.6 million pixels, for a vibrant display and User Experience. It is powered by a new “desktop class” A9X chip, which claims to be 1.8X times faster than its predecessor in terms of CPU tasks.
The iPad Pro is faster than majority of the PCs that shipped in the last six months; it is powerful enough to edit three 4K streams at once, said Phil Schiller, Senior VP, Worldwide Marketing, Apple at the tablet’s launch in September.
