IRCTC to launch several new initiatives, including passenger insurance and unreserved ticketing

Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is collaborating with institutions like State Bank of India, Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, and Institute of Hotel Management, Catering & Nutrition, Pusa to upgrade its services. Initiatives like passenger insurance, unreserved ticketing, digital payments will be announced soon, along with a simpler process of e-ticket cancellation.
