IRCTC To Limit Online Ticket Booking To One-Per-Login During Rush Hours

The IRCTC has introduced a one-ticket-per-login restriction for online booking of railway tickets as a measure to prevent touts from cornering tickets.

The restrictions will be put in place for bookings made during peak hours (0800 – 1200 hours), with a user being forcefully logged out after making just a single e-ticket booking.
Even IRCTC agents aren’t exempt from the one-ticket-per-login restriction.
However, the restriction will not be applicable while booking onward journey/return journey e-tickets and defence booking under warrant.
